Get to know Subway Store Manager; Siya.

Can you tell us a little about your shop or service and what inspired you to join the team? Subway is a global  brand that inspired me to join to meet new people and ensure I serve fresh and healthy options. I am a food critic and only like the best.

 

What’s in season or really popular right now with shoppers? Our freshly baked breads and new signature menu have been popular. Everyone loves cookies, so we are always baking them.

 

What’s your favourite thing in-store at the moment? My team - they make the difference.

 

Choose four objectives to describe yourself? Curious, determined, focused and engaging.

 

How long have you been working here and what do you enjoy most about this centre? We only opened in October 2024. I like the positive vibe of the centre and the Play on Wednesday seems to be so fun for the kids.

 

What are your interested, any hobbies or mad obsessions? Driving and exploring new places.

 

Do you have local customers you know by name, or like to have a chat with? I know most of our regular customers and their favourite sandwich.

 

What do you think makes Bateau Bay Square a great community and or a good place to shop? An established centre, easily accessible. A great team who work here give us a feel good factor.
