Can you tell us a little about your shop or service and what Inspired you to join the team? Cotton On is an international multi brand retailer who, aside from creating leading fashion trends, also does so much good through the Cotton On Foundation. This means that when I come to work I’m also doing good, which inspires me even more to lead a positive, whole hearted team.

What’s in season or really popular right now with shoppers? Everything Cherry red! This season is about baggy comfort, we are so happy to see the end of tight, skinny, frustrating denim and welcome soft, flattering styles this season.

What’s your favourite thing in-store at the moment? Our Boxy oversized shirts! I love the soft fabric, the fit is so versatile to wear as big and baggy or tucked and snatched and the colour range this season is super easy to style up for brunch or down for the gym.

How long have you been working here and what do you enjoy most about this centre? I’ve been with Cotton On on and off for two years while I was building a holistic wellness business on the side and now so excited to elevate my journey as the Store Manager. My very first job was here at Bateau Bay Square when I was 14years old, the centre has improved so much over the years but nothing beats the “Bato” customer. Our friendly community is authentic, laid back, and always ready for a chat!

What are your interested, any hobbies or mad obsessions? Anything and everything spiritual, woo-woo and holistic!

What products or services do you offer and what makes them unique? Cotton On has been in business since the eighties, starting from the boot of a car at the infamous markets of Melbourne. The grit and determination to have scaled internationally and create major impact in education, youth mental health and our environment through the Cotton On Foundation makes them a very unique, Australian success story.

What do you think makes Bateau Bay Square a great community and place to shop? Our community love to shop here, it’s convenient and local to the beaches and cafes but that coastal town vibe doesn’t compromise the span of what you can get here. From groceries, take away and trendy, affordable fashion there’s no need to fight bigger crowds elsewhere. We get everything we want and need right in our own backyard.
